Dave, Lila and I were in Truckee recently camping with my family. I hadn't been back to Reno/Tahoe since we left 3 years ago when Aim was still alive. It felt weird to be back in that place with the knowledge that she won't show up at any given moment. So much has changed about Truckee since we left, but the amazing memories are alive and well with us. We spent a day on Donner Lake and I just kept thinking about all of the times we would meet Amy down on the public piers where she would throw sticks in the lake for Montana. We went to breakfast in downtown Truckee where Aim and the girls used to meet up for breakfast occasionally. The whole area is just chalked full of great memories with Aim. I am so grateful to have such vivid memories of our friendship.

Thank you for the adoreable pictures of Lila. She is so cute and smiley./ You are so lucky, and you and Dave both deserve a beautiful little girl.
chris fundraiser was success even though the weather got up to 90 degrees both days.
He got over $7,000 before expenses, so he probably cleared between 5-$6,000.00 for Suicide Prevention and Awareness Council of St. Joseph Co..
On Labor day Sunday, we are dedicating Amys plaque and the waterfront building and benches for the swimmers at Camp Eberhart. I am getting upset just thinking about it.
Thank you for sharing your trip with us, I know it had to be hard, but, like you said, we all have the beaautiful memories of Amy out there in Gods' country. I am so glad I came out to see her twice.
I love you guys,
One more wedding this month, and I'm through til the end of Oct. Its time for me to get out of here, and Mike probably won't go with me, so I will go with friends.
Love, KK
